Tasha Seitz

Tasha Seitz is a partner at Impact Engine, an accelerator program for entrepreneurs launching for-profit businesses that address today’s most pressing societal and environmental challenges.

Tasha has more than two decades of venture capital investment experience as a partner with JK&B Capital, a technology venture capital firm based in Chicago with over a billion dollars under management. As a partner, she was responsible for identifying, evaluating, and making investments in early-stage start-up software companies, serving on the board of directors, managing growth, coaching, and hiring management teams, and exiting investments through sale or initial public offering. During her tenure at JK&B, Tasha sourced and led investments in industry-leading technologies such ranging from mobile internet to security to big data.

Having been part of several technology cycles as a venture capital investor, Tasha has seen the power of the entrepreneurs to create markets and touch people’s everyday lives, and she is a passionate believer in the power of entrepreneurship to make the world a better place.

Additionally, she served as the board chair for Spark Ventures, a nonprofit venture philanthropy organization investing in entrepreneurial NGOs serving vulnerable children in developing economies through building organizational leadership and capacity and forming social enterprises that move the partner towards financial sustainability. Tasha also served as the former board chair of SVP Chicago.
