Shelby Roller
Shelby helps implement SVP’s programs and communications initiatives. She is passionate about communicating the story of an organization through written word and design.
Prior to joining SVP Chicago, she worked as a communications specialist for Georgetown College at Georgetown University, where she excelled at storytelling and content creation. Shelby also worked as a program manager for the School of Foreign Service where she planned large- and small-scale events.
During her time as a university employee, she earned her master’s degree in communication from the Communication, Culture and Technology program and was named a Lannan Fellow for the Lannan Center for Poetics and Social Practice. In 2019, Shelby was awarded a certificate in visual communications from General Assembly to develop her interest in graphic design. Shelby lives in Chicago with her partner Will and cat Meatball.
