Oi Eng-Crandus
Oi Eng-Crandus is a versatile leader with experience driving impact in both the nonprofit and corporate sectors. She retired as Vice President of Finance and Operations at the Chicago Lawyers' Committee for Civil Rights, where she oversaw finance, human resources, IT, and administrative operations. Before transitioning to the nonprofit sector, Oi held leadership roles in digital merchandising and marketing, strategy, finance, and business development at Essendant, Sears, and BP Amoco.
Now in her third chapter, Oi is focused on supporting mission-driven organizations through board service and sharing her expertise as a volunteer and consultant. She serves as Secretary and Chair of the HR & Compensation Committee at RefugeeOne, sits on the boards of SVP Chicago and the MacArthur Justice Center, and serves on the Advisory Council of Ladder Up. Across all this work, Oi is committed to applying her skills to help nonprofits do their best work to expand opportunity and advance equity where it matters most.
Oi earned her M.B.A. from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a B.S. in Finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She lives in Chicago with her husband and has two sons.
