Helen Chang

Helen is an executive healthcare consultant providing direction in strategy development, organizational design, management alignment, and strategic implementation. Her focus is on strategic change management in complex, dynamic healthcare organizations embarking on transformational growth.

Most recently, Helen was a principal at Evolent Health, an innovative start-up company that partners with leading healthcare delivery systems to develop value-based care capabilities. The strategy team provided client-specific roadmaps for operational redesign, analytics, IT optimization, and organizational alignment to drive toward a new business model.

Helen has also provided independent consulting services on new strategic development initiatives for Geisinger Health System, Navigant Consulting, and Duke Medical Center. Prior to her consulting roles, Helen spent 10 years at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in leadership roles. She developed strategic goal setting and management compensation initiatives to align goals across multiple divisions. Helen began her career as a planning analyst at the Stanford University Medical Center.

Helen received her bachelor’s from Harvard University and a dual master’s degrees in business administration and business/healthcare administration from the University of Iowa Graduate School.
