Colleen has been helping to grow organizations throughout her career. As deputy director, she is responsible for program development and innovation, partner and nonprofit engagement, and operations.

Previously, she led a Chicago-based marketing firm specializing in commercial and high-end, urban residential real estate and related industries. Colleen spent the first half of her career working with nonprofits including social service agencies, trade associations, and healthcare organizations.

She has a bachelor’s degree with a major in journalism and mass communications, and a minor in sociology from the University of Iowa. She and her husband live in Chicago and look forward to spending time with their adult daughter and travel (and especially travel to or with said daughter).
